Children's Book Project

Children's Book Project - student project

It's been a while! I just wanted to share the latest look of my project.

The final look of the characters/style have changed a little bit as you can see below, but I'm happy with where it's going :) Still have lots to do!

Hope you like it! :)

Another small update.

I changed her hair from ponytail to pigtails (as requested by Matt :)) because it makes the figure shape look more interesting.

I worked on the girl character a bit more, and here's the revised sketch:

And into Illustrator:

And here's the Photoshop rendered image:

I will probably tweak here and there, but will move on to the bear character soon :) As other stundents have already mentioned, I'm also really enjoying using those Brushes Matt has introduced us to! Thanks Matt for the awesome share!

Any feedback is always very much appreciated!!

I know most people are designing pirates but I decided to tie this class in my personal project. I'm working on a short children's book project with a girl and a bear in it. This image below is my initial sketch for the characters and I'm still tweaking, but any feedback or thoughts are very much appreciated! :)

I'll probably keep adding to it :)
