1) I started to create a black shape, then I added details playing with black and white/negative and positive space. I will continue adding details, colors, etc... I really enjoyed the course, thank you Melissa Lee!
I chose 1 design, from previous excercise, and inked lineart trying to mantain dinamic flow. Then I added basic flat colors, selecting a palette of grey, red, orange; I chose stripes of colors to enhance sporty, casual dress and a rigid attitude. Then I used a layer of grey/bluish/purple (decreasing opacity) on all character, erasing portions to unveil light parts. The majority of character is in shadow because he is often angry.
