Chapali Meatballs

This is a recipe inspired by Chapali Kebabs from India and the availably of ingredients in my local supermarket.

1 pound of minced meat
1 small chopped onion
2 inch (aprox) fresh ginger, peeled
4 de-seeded jalapeños
1 teaspoon of chilly flakes
1 tablespoon of cumin
3/4 cups of finally chopped coriander
3 tablespoons of chickpea flour
or 1-2 minced slices fresh bread
2 eggs
Ghee (clarified butter to fry them)
Salt

  1. In a food processor add the onion, the ginger, the jalapeños, the chilly flakes and the cumin.
  2. Mix the rest of the ingredients except for the butter
  3. Make the meatballs
  4. Heat the butter in a sauce pan, and fry the meat balls. (you can also cook them in the oven)
