VIRAL MAP
The Viral Map
1. List all major “players” in the system (eg. a marketplace may have two major players: buyers & sellers)
2. List out any selfish reasons why each player would need their contacts/friends to join the service
-Their passion is often met with the reality of scarce resources. Other than cancer patients, they know and face the reality of the range of therapies that exist today and the possibilities of tomorrow. Take for example new sciences that Big Pharma and Big Biotech are not necessarily interested in today-cancer stem cells, EMT, etc.
3. List out all things you could possibly make each player support the service
4. For 2 and 3 above give a very short reason you think the player would be motivated to need their contact or pay for the service
NOT SURE I UNDERSTAND THS SECTION
5. a. List the channels (email, facebook, text message, etc.) that you will send your users’ invites through and b. how you will get that contact data
6. Create what those invites will look like

Title: If you could cure cancer for $20
This year alone, over a half a million Americans will die of cancer; that’s over 1,500 per day. The second leading cause of death among Americans, one in three women and one in two men will develop cancer over the course of their lifetime.
With all the advancements in cancer care and treatments, there are millions of people in the US and worldwide who are still handed the news of a death sentence every day because there are simply no therapies that either extend lives or provide a life worth living in those final months. Let me give you an example. This and every year, about 45,000 people will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and 38,000 will die. Ninety-five percent of these patients will be dead in five years, and a majority will be dead in first six months after diagnosis.
Cancer Mob is a crowd-sourcing website to help small biotechnology companies raise money to fund the commercialization of their research to bring new cancer-treatment drugs to market faster. For those of who know Kickstarter.com or Indiegogo.com, think of Cancer Mob as the Indiegogo/Kickstarter of cancer drug commercialization.
So, I implore you to join us. I implore you to get your friends to join us. Like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter. Commit $20 to one of our startups, or commit $20 each to more than one startup, or a $100, or a $1000. Then, tell your friends, siblings, neighbors, colleagues, synagogue, mosque, or church members about Cancer Mob and get them to join.
