Calligraphy for a farmers' market

This was my end project: signs for my husband's table at the farmers' market. I feel like I progressed a lot in class in terms of the steadiness and definitely in the consistency of my letters. As the signs show, I need to work on my letter spacing, on the width of my round letters (I feel like Jackson's are fatter than mine, and that looks much better), and on not dripping water on to the finished product and causing the ink to run. That last one should be easiest.

I'm also posting a practice sheet I did of exercises and the alphabet. I need a lot of work on capital letters but I'm pleased with how consistent the lowercase are. Finally, a poem in French, which is pretty even if my lettering needs a bit of work.

This was fun and very beneficial - thank you, Jackson!
