Cabbage Roses

This was a really nice and fun class and project. I really liked the step by step process and all the tips and tricks shared along the way ! Thank you Shannon!!! :)

For my project I started with a warmer color version and then I did a cooler color version. I loved how even though I used the same color palette that small variation in color gave each illustration a different feel.

I'm still in the process of deciding which special invitation I'll do, but so far this is my progress. Love how fun this is. I had some trouble with the ink because it is true the tip of the marker gets stuck with paint and I still have to practice to smoothe those lines but overall I'm pretty happy with this! :) I love cabagge roses and the vintage feeling of them.

I'm using Arches watercolor paper , 140lb hot press - grain satine, and W&N professional watercolors.
