Class Project Deliverable:

I've poste the code for the OMRails project on Git Hub and Heroku. You're welcome to visit those sites as well. This is proof that I've met the requirements of this course. My side project does not require any images to be uploaded, so I doesn't meet the requirements for completing this course. Please review the class deliverable only to confirm that I have me the requirements for this course.

Side Project:

This is the project I am interested in receiving peer feedback about. I have adapted the lessons from this course to develop this side project, but it does not meet all the requirements of the course deliverable. Let me know what you think of the project and where you might improve on what I have at this point.

I'm working with a team to create tools for educators. Our first application will be a lesson plan builder. Ruby on Rails seems to be the right choice for this job.

CREATOMbuilder is a new lesson-building platform: where teachers and students can leverage art and design thinking within the classroom.

The idea for CREATOMbuilder originated from ATOM| Art to Many: an initiative which integrates art and design projects into the teaching of math, literacy and computer technology for the non-profit Communities Rising (CR). CR is an afterschool program which supports and provides village-based education to rural India.

The social value idea for ATOM| Art to Many continued to evolve as we found that teachers everywhere face a similar challenge: finding the time to create meaningful learning experiences, in everyday lesson planning. It can be overwhelming to search for, organize and produce creative lesson plans that engage students while complying with standards.

The CREATOMbuilder solution is a shared online space where any educator can create lesson plans, and discover how to integrate creativity and critical thinking skills across the curriculum.

This project is being devloped on Heroku at:
