First off, awesome class Jenn!  I've been wanting to do my own font for years so this class was perfect (I have 3 that I can't wait to get working on! Not to mention, this will give me the kick in the butt to get better at hand lettering which is fine by me).

Here is the process I went through for the font I'm calling "CHILDS PLAY"

This is my initial scan straight out of my sketchbook.  Its rough and its messy.

This is the "cleaned up scan" before importing letters into AI:

Vectorised letters:

(And this is as far as I've gotten because I'm on a Windows and Glyphs is MAC only.  I'm currently trying out FontForge or a way to go between Win/MAC.  Once I'm there, I'll update!)

Ended up installing AI on my husband's MAC laptop as well as the Glyphs Mini App.  So here is my font in action!  There are still certain things I can tweak to make it look a little better, and the kearning is a little off on some of the letters, but overall, I'm thrilled with how it turned out!  Can't wait to start sketching and making more fonts :)
