Brush Lettering practice

Hi all!

My name is Maria and I really like how the quotes and the phrases looks written on a paper. That's why I want to learn how to make cute lettering myself.

During my practice I've tried different brush pens:

  • Edditing;
  • Marvy Uchida;
  • Tombow;
  • Pentel touch;
  • and brush pen from Muji.

Some of them are easy to use from the beginning, but some of them needed more practice and very sensitive hand.

Here are some photos of my practice:

And definitely I will continue, it's really relaxing and meditative thing.

Sometimes it's not even a word, just connections between hardest for me letters.

This one was made drawn with a pencil first and then with a brush pen on tracing paper. But lines and shapes are not mine, found this on pinterest:

I see a lot of things to work on on this picture, but it's already a great result for me.
Thanks for this wonderful workshop, Andrea!
