The view from home is a little complicated because I live on the 4th floor of a 5 storey building. I have a terrace that faces north and bedrooms that face south (but theres another 5 storey building in front).
The sky map I've sent is the north view around 8pm and the south view around midnight. I forgot to take measurments on the south view because I was too absorbed by Jupiter. The small points of light when close by when seen with binoculars are the moons aren't they?
I also think I have identified Pleiades with binoculars. The brightest stars form a question mark on its side. Is that right?
Looking forward to the next class
