Slogan: We All Bleed the Same

Bound By Blood was created after years of wanting to start a clothing line. In my eyes, it's the perfect creative outlet for me. It combines my love for fashion, graphic design, photography, web design, and marketing. When starting the brand, I knew I wanted it to have a meaning and a purpose. Like Jeff said in one of his lessons, some people just get into this business as a get-rich-quick scheme; I wanted the opposite of that.

"We are all human. We are all Bound By Blood." This is the first concept that came to mind when I started developing this brand a couple years ago. Personally, I'm tired of all of the hate, violence, and arguments that arise from an ignorant view of others' race, religion, political stance, gender, sexual orientation, etc. I like to envision a world where everyone realises that, at the end of the day, we all are people looking for the same things - life, love, and happiness. It doesn't matter what you believe in, let's set aside our differences and work together for the betterment of everyone.

Mission Statement:
In the face of our deep divisions, our flags, our borders and our politics serve to turn us against each other.

These are the times we must heed a call to action. A call to our great orators to give a voice to the voiceless. A call to our great authors to write the next chapter of our story. A call to our great artists to paint a beautiful future.

On this, our planet, and in this, our time, let us set aside our differences.

United, we share our most common element.

Our icon represents how we are all connected and intertwined. The Bound By Blood monogram is like our family crest. It's a symbol that can be proudly worn and adopted by the supporters of the movement.

Proper Usage:

Word Mark is not allowed to be stretched, skewed, or rotated. If used in conjunction with another logo, margin around Word Mark must be equvalent to the width of the "B" and must use a vertical divider between logos.

Our customers are generally between the ages of 18 and 35, both men and women. Since our brand is about bringing different people together, we market to a pretty wide range of people - everyone from underground hip hop artists, motorcycle enthusiasts, tattoo artists, rockstars, DJs, hairstylists, and photographers who want to leave their mark on the world. Our style gears itself towards people who want an edgy yet clean look. They generally tend to be into the lifestyle / streetwear scene and support brands such as the following:

Our first collection was released in January of 2012. Since it was our first release, we wanted to promote brand awareness as much as possible. The theme, which ties into our brand mission, was "Clothing For All". This concept reflects the universal nature of our design style and in turn helps promote our message of a common bond between people.
