I'm choosing to paint bouganvilla a tropical flower  that I just  love. It reminds me of growing up in the Virgin Islands.  They come in very bright colors, They are popular here in Florida too,   I have a purple, fushia, and a white growing in my garden.  The white is actually more like a light green wih hints of light pink and splashes of  darker pink. I have not decide which color to paint yet, but I will probaby paint them in a made up vase.  Here is the purple followed by the reddish or fushia the the white. :)

I love the way this white one has a splash of darker pink on one of the petals.

I decided to paint the cream ones, It will be a challenge because painting backgrounds in watercolor is not my thing :0 Here are my practice sketches.

Here is a work in progress picture, I decided no vase.

and here is my final painting!  I had to outline them beacuse of the white background they were hard to see.

This was a super fun class, I'm going to go paint more flowers!!
