Procreate Floral Illustration: From Botanical Elements To Composition

Hey thank you so much.. yes I definitely need to loosen up my strokes.. I just wanted to challenge myself with some complicated images , hence these sketches.. I know they don’t look stylized.. I’m still working on it. I will try a simplified version of these while illustrating them with colors.. noted ur tipsI’ll post the completed project ASAP

This is wonderful Shabana! Thanks for sharing these! I love that you've taken this in your own direction and your sketches look so clean and lovely! Your inspiration boards include a good variety of each category of elements. Can't wait to see how this progresses. But for now, let me give you some ideas: -For flowers that have several petals in layers, try considering each layer as a large petal with irregular outlines and see where that takes you. -In case of fillers like the dandelion, it's best to do loose dandelions rather than an entire cluster of them to effectively use them as fillers. -Similarly, attaching leaves to berries can restrict their use as fillers. -I would love to see some loose irregular lines in your illustrated versions- just to see what magic can happen when you free your strokes up a bit :) Looking forward to seeing more!
