Botanical Scenes in Photoshop

Botanical Scenes in Photoshop - student project

This course was very interesting and packed with information, some sections I had to watch over and over again.

The watercolour part was fun and I enjoyed it a lot.

I gathered inspiration from my flower garden and created my colour swatch from it. Here are my painted assets:

I had mostly photography adjustment photoshop skills, so this was a challenge. Creating flower assets was ok, but I really struggled with the foliage.

But putting together foliage and flowers was rewarding, as finally the work started to pay off:

Here is my minimalistic card design:

And one with a complex flower design. For one of them I used a watercolour background from a papper I did color pouring.

And finally, I tried product mockup for a first time.

The course was challenging but the results were very rewarding.
