Bookkeeping plan of action - student project

Based on what I've learned today, I will use the cash method. Still trying to understand how the double-entry method would work and benefit me. I have decided to use Quickbooks. It's linked to my separate business account. 

Next steps:

-set up chart of accounts

-hire a bookkeeper for the initial set up

-set up a separate email address for invoices and anything related to expenses

-move receipts from Google Drive into a document program or figure out a way to make G-Drive work. 

-schedule one day per month to reconcile books

-hire bookkeeper for either monthly or quarterly reconciliation
