Blue Camel - Arabian Cuisine

Blue Camel - Arabian Cuisine - student project

I thought of a camel very well associated with Arabs. So thought to use this concept in my logo design project for an Arabian Cuisine logo.

In the beginning, I found it very difficult to sketch a camel forget different poses of it. So I decided to search for some examples of the camel logo and take inspiration from it to draw a camel. I tried to go with a side pose and thought to use its hump as a bowl of food. But later I found a similar concept online. Then  I added some more elements to give my own touch. Please take a look at the process I went through. And let me know your feedback.

My Inspiration

The sketch that I digitalized.

Some variations  in fonts without final to the camel logo

After adding refinements in the logo and deciding the font I found suitable( Though I find it very difficult to choose a font).

I think this logo fits the gestalt principle of figure and ground relationship with the negative space for the cloth on the hump and the negative space of the eye. It also follows the principle of closure at the hump area signified by the food vessel.

Am I right? What else do you think?
