Wanted to try one of my favorite critters in watercolor and anxious to try the masking fluid I bought some months ago.
After I laid down a light layer of water color I applied the masking fluid. It was pretty tricky to get used to but I think will get easier with more practice. I used it mostly in the leaves surrounding the raccoon.
I had to simplify my original idea and then used my watercolor pencils to add definition and add some contrast. I was much happier after incorporating the watercolor pencils and then went on to finish the piece below. Thanks for a great class Sandra!!
