Olá everyone,

Lately I'm wandering around my city as I'm a tourist and it's an amazing thing to do to discover that you actually don't need to go to the other side of the planet to be amazed.

Come with me to see a bit of Curitiba (Brazil) outside the traditional touristic circuit. You know, I'm a rebel tourist that likes to go outside the touristic maps' borders. Beauty can be found in many unexpected places.

I like the light and shadow contrast in this picture. It's like you are in the middle of a very dark forest and suddenly find out that there is a sun shining and inviting you to discover a new way of living.

This one I took from one of my home windows at the end of the day just after a big storm. I like the colors of this dusk and I like the way the city skyline is "growing" from the darkness to rich the colorful sky.  See, after the storm good things can come! Don't give up!

I have a lot to learn yet about photography, but thanks to Mariya's classes I can already see some improvement in my wandering photos.
