Becoming a Billionaire High-Tech Entrepreneur: Do You Have What It Takes?
ABOUT THE CLASS:
Many creative entrepreneurs have had a burning desire to create for years before they actually launch their company. Where did that desire come from? Did it start with them, or have they tapped into something that has been around much longer?
According to at least one respected New York city venture capitalist, they don't do it for the money: the entrepreneurial spirit often compels them to create so strongly that they must pursue their vision.
Join us as we look at the stories of entrepreneurs that have captured your imagination: what their challenges were, how they struggled, how they ultimately overcame their obstacles, and what their story reveals about you.
Next we'll take a look at the cultural landscape and see how your personal history is a guide to where your entreprenerial destiny is calling you.
Finally we will each conduct market research that will confirm that you are on the right track.
Create a 3-ring notebook that is filled with:
--- Stories of entrepreneurs that inspire you personally
--- Bios of people that you want to work with as your start-up progresses.
--- Print outs of market research that confirms you are on the right track.
THE SKILLS YOU WILL GAIN:
By the end of the class you will:
--- Have demonstrated that your past, present, and researched future converge to mark an entrepreneurial path for you to follow.

ABOUT THE CLASS:
Many of the Skillshare classes that I've seen listed focus on the hardcore technical and financial side of the entrepreneurship equation.
I've been interested in entrepreneurship and innovation for years and have developed a passion for the "human capital" side of those activities which form the foundation for the technical and financial achievements.
ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Bob Moran is a serial entrepreneur and launched 2 start-ups. One developed intranet sites for a Fortune 10 pharmaceutical firm, the other never got off the ground. He's had a lifelong passion for innovation and entrepreneurship that he cannot leave alone.
