Basics of Interior designing by learning Mixing Pattern Techniques

Class Description:
Mixing patterns in a space is a great way to add interest, color, and depth while giving it a custom look that you want for your particular room and your home overall.  But there are a few guidelines to follow if you want to avoid a jarring and uncoordinated look.

The quickest and usually the most inexpensive way to really change up the feel of a room is to switch up the surroundings. With all of the new styles and different patterns to choose from, the trend has been resurrected and is totally modern. If you choose a very big and bold print, consider using this on an accent all behind your bed or dining room table wall and then using a smaller print or even paint on the adjacent walls. This will help keep the room balanced and comfortable to the eye and mind. If you’re not ready to commit to wallpapering an entire room, creating an accent wall by covering only one wall is a great way to add style and interest.
