Day2: illustrator cheat sheet set up properly - pinned on my desktop lamp :) . I must say, the Cmd+D shortcut makes me want to cry over the hours i spent duplicating objects the hard way. Seriously.
Day 2 result - fighting with the gradients. it may seem simple, but the guy with the beer is split up into myriads of small shapes with their own gradients. Im not trying to imitate it completely, just doing my best to learn the tools, so here's the result after day 2:
Day 3: Fixed some gaps between shapes and playing with gradients. Also, I imported a bitmap texture from PS just like Brad showed us in one of the videos. But I just want to keep it subtle. Still waiting for the face to finish, and then I'll try some "overlay coloring" effects.
Day 3 result:
D4: OK, so after a longer pause I decided to finish my project. It's not perfect of course, but it's "good enough" for me, as the main goal was achieved. This course was great and I learned a lot!
After a few months, I came back to this project and decided to experiment again with the textures (inspired by the skillshare class by Dan Matutina)
