SLOGAN/MISSION STATEMENT: Authntc is shortened for "Authentic," meaning real. A person who is authentic shows the characteristics of unique individualism, which sets themselves "Above the standards." Meaning that they are above the standards that society places on them.

The Concept of our Logo: As the desinger and founder, i wanted to keep the logo simple, clean, but have a meaning. Starting the brand,  me and my team made our quote "Above The Standards" a main part of our brand; So we wanted an object that represented highness and flight. After brainstorming different animals and objects like: a plane, bird, etc. we wanted something more simple, coming to conclusion of bird feathers. 

"INDIVIDUALISM" COLLECTION: 

ABOUT THE COLLECTION: Someone who is authentic shows unique individualism, which sets them "Above the Standards."

In This specific collection we wanted to emphasize on the definition of "individualism." Individualism is the habit or principle of being independent and self-reliant. The Theme of this collection is based on the Japanese street culture, because of its unique style and influence, which we believe shows true individualism. Japan's street style is known to be extreme and aunt-garde; the extremeness is seen through the mixing and matching of garments and the colors. "Their style represents a pushing of the boundaries of what is accepted as the norm or status quo." We also based some of the designs in this collection on Jackie Robinson. Jackie Robinson is famous for playing with the Brooklyn Dodgers, breaking the color barrier in baseball at the time of segergation, at that time Robinson was looked at as an individual. 

Basing our collection on the Japanese street style, we wanted our designs to standout and also give a bold statement. In this collection, our designs consist of many colors but two bold colors (Coral pink and a light shade of teal) will be present through the whole collection. It will also consist of the word "individualism" in Japanese characters, number 42, and  floral patterns simply to add our own style in the collection. 

The collection is made for those who are individuals; not only individuals in their style, but ones who are individuals in what they do.

ABOUT: AUTHNTC is a streetwear brand from Las Vegas, Nevada that is based on the underground street and skateboarding culture.Authntc is shortened for "Authentic," meaning real. A person who is authentic shows the characteristics of unique individualism, which sets themselves "Above the standards."We get influences from many different styles though; street goth, high end, skateboarder; but we twisted and mixed them all together and made it our own. We started in 2012 that started off with just making and selling pocket tees; Thanks to fashion class, I learned how to sew, cutting some of the production cost. We didnt want to limit our brand to just pocket tees or cut and sew pieces like Tantum, so overtime we started designing grahpic tees, headwear as well. With our designs we want our consumers to feel like and individual; limiting many of our designs, making it exclsuive.
