Thanks for the very useful information and tips. I'm not sure I'm quite ready to start selling my artwork, but this has helped me understand more about it. I suppose the next steps in my plan would be to develop a larger number of pieces that are suitable for printing on items, especially ones that work in a long horizontal or tall vertical format or are suitable for turning into patterns. This also means working on and practicing my Photoshop skills for tidying up artwork, removing backgrounds, making patterns, etc
Sorry I haven't actually done any new artwork as part of this class, but here is a piece from the previous two classes in this workshop (Modern watercolour techniques and From paper to screen), edited with a different colour palette. I think it makes quite a nice pattern actually.
