Artificial Shelters - Dam in Albuquerque, NM

Artificial Shelters - Dam in Albuquerque, NM - student project

On my way to get a flue shot in Albuquerque, NM, I drove by a local dam and I was taken by the blocks of cement which covered the face of the dam. I am accustomed to seeing dams with smooth walls so I was intrigued by these blacks of stone.  I used my cellphone since I did not have my camera with me so these were taken in 1:1 perspective instead of the usual 4:3 perspective that I normally use with my camera. I was intrigued by the lines created by these rows of blocks on the face of the dam. The dam was located just 1 block from a street corner that I drive through almost every day on my way to the gym and I had not seen it before.Artificial Shelters - Dam in Albuquerque, NM - image 1 - student projectArtificial Shelters - Dam in Albuquerque, NM - image 2 - student projectArtificial Shelters - Dam in Albuquerque, NM - image 3 - student projectArtificial Shelters - Dam in Albuquerque, NM - image 4 - student project
