Art History Techniques

I spend so much time drawing and painting. I love this class. I find myself relating to various elements in each art movement...I suppose that's where my wonderful play will come in.

bright colors-monochromatic maybe?  That led me to drawing objects with a heart pattern.

I catch myself  painting, thinking about my own emotions and trying to build connections. Yes I was feeling an incredible love from nature. I added a little bit of a texture to create a vintage feel.

Stay tuned for my project for this class.

Oh by the way I created a project inspired by Paul Klee for another class project. You can head to my project gallery and check it out.

I plan on painting something for all of the art movements

I love this design but let's redo it.

I then made some notes

The re-do is the featured image. Yes I have much practice ahead of me but know I have a fabulous idea to keep practicing for.

I used small strokes and added layers of color to get variations of blue. I felt like adventure is scary, fun, and magical. When you look up at the sky you get a sense of anything is possible.

Yes I embedded clues of some of my favorite characters. I am proud of the progress I have made and thank you so much Christine for creating this class and helping me realize that I love Impressionism art.

Inspired by Post Impressionism/Cubism

I used a square ceramic to stamp the paint on. Then I used a dry brush to blend.  I used an angled brush to do this and love the texture.  Why did I paint this? I am writing a story about a bee an her best friend George.  They live in a beautiful world where bears paint and apple trees can teach us a lesson about love and embracing life's purpose.

I simply wanted to work on something with shape.

I love this!  I do keep working on trees and if your curious then check out my blog and instagram. The links are in my profile.

Now about the adventure poster...YES I'm going to paint it again.

Imagine all the impossibilities that are possible.
