More Sketching

Following some useful feedback I decided to keep stetching. I don't think my character design was looking piratey enough. The hair had to go, although I did like it, to make room for a hat.

Sketches

I think this is the one I will be working on first. She's called Captain Amalie.

Research

I have been using Pinterest for a while now, you can find me at www.pinterest.com/scattykath, there are a number of boards on there including one with a pirate theme.

Pre-couse Ponderings

I stumbled upon this course while working on a pirate poem book for kids/pirate fans. I have  always loved pirates, and lucklily for me I have a partner who supports me in this pirate love by bringing me home things like this:

I did these pirate images a while ago. This is Eebygum the pirates mum. I do quite like her, and would like to develop her further, so she can be included in the poetry book.

Here's another one!

I'm hoping to improve my rendering skills while on this course, and will hopefully have a pirate crew fit for my book!
