When it came time to plan this animation, I was stumped. After several thumbnails, it became obvious that the animation should be as simple as possible. At first, I wanted to animate a fish jumping in a lake, but it was a little advanced. This was the first time animating one of my own illustrations, so I wanted to limit the number of variables.

Even after choosing an initial concept, I struggled with adding the right amount of detail. For me personally, there is a very fine line between what I consider "enough" and "too much" detail. I'm constantly reminding myself "Less is more" and, "Keep it simple."

Overall, the class was a lot of fun and I learned a lot about how to organize and set up layers for animation. Thanks, Libby!
