Animal Farm

I have chosen to create a cover for the George Orwell book Animal Farm. The book is politically charged and symbolic, but the allegories are fairly simple which I like. Here are the notes that I took while reading the book:

............................................................................................................................................

There are many covers that have been designed and these are a few of the more popular ones or versions that I like. A lot of the designs feature a pig (named 'Napoleon'), who is the main antagonist who leads a rebellion with the other animals to overthrow their oppressive human masters on the farm where they live. Napoleon (and other pigs) eventually descend from leading a fair and just system of government into a completely totalitarian - and utterly terrible - ruler over the other animals. The animals end up being far worse off than they ever were under farmer rule. This is partly due to their lack of intelligence and inability to detect obvious corruption of the pigs. Another reason they end up slaves to the pigs is their fear of danger if they speak up.
