I took Jon Burgerman's class Digital Illustration: Doodles to Designs where I doodled some random pages and colored them in Illustrator (Link to that project) Here are the 8 doodles -

I decided to make a zine of those doodles. First I tried the one-page zine shown in class but (maybe because the paper was a bit thick) I wasn't able to fold it properly. Also, I didn't want the zine to be too small. So I decided to go with quarter size+staple binding.

Here is the cover design + page print order -

I printed the doodles on A4 size ~170gsm Art papers (4 doodles on front side and the other 4 on back side as shown above). Cut them in half and folded for staple binding.

Since this was my first zine I did not consider story or concept and went with just random doodles/illustrations zine. Now that I have tried it, next time I'll think about what story I wish to tell :)
