I already like to draw with shapes and a restricted palette, but I never tried this "riso" style with the layers in "multiply". I used a big brush with a limited control, which led me to focus more on the overall composition. I started with two simple shapes (a circle and a triangle), but those disappereared as I felt inspired more by the colors I picked (especially the green one). I followed my instinct building the scene from the top left.
I feel this technique is great to focus more on composition and landscape, which is nice for me since I mostly draw characters otherwise.
I plan to do a few more illustrations using the same technique, maybe adding more details.
