I like that you came up with your own colors. Well done. Nice foreground and use of the cling wrap. Maybe add a very little of the sky color in one section of the foreground to create harmony.  Well done Gigi.

I agree that the hot-pressed version is better but it is good that you  experimented and and now you know what works best for you.
