Question- How can I reduce my urge to drink water after having my food?

Yes, it is good health practice to no drink water before and after meal. And mostly people ignore this thing. To reduce this you can follow simple steps.

  1. Eat less spicy food and try to eat dishes with more gravy so that you are not forced to swallow hard food.
  2. Use buttermilk or curd with food. Instead of drinking water drink buttermilk with water it will neutralise your spicy food and also stop your urge to drink water.
  3. Might be you are very thirsty and your body needs more water daily you should consider eating Dates (Khajoor) during day it will reduce your urge to drink water because it will keep you hydrated.
