A letter...to be unapologetically you.

I'm a visual storyteller who shares candid moments through my journey of life, mainly through my camera. But this calligraphy project has allowed me to share my transformational journey through a new medium of expression.

There is an inspiring quote from Marianne Williamson which I've heard countless times in the last year. Recently, I heard it twice in a span of 1 hour from three different sources so I took that as a sign to "take heed"!!

I decided to address the letter to myself -- it's a powerful messaage of self-love, trust, empowerment, purpose and unapologetic self-acceptance. There is beauty in accepting such truth and with this truth, we can create impactful movements that inspire all to live a life of love, compassion, and harmonious action. Through our many talents, we can find our purpose and passion and "let our own light shine".

It's a work in progress...and as I've been reminded through my calligraphy practice, "practice doesn't make perfect, practice makes progress." :)

Next step: to use guided lines with the support of a light box. Yes, I am practicing the acceptance of support to being and doing my best. ;)
