A-Z of language learning

A-Z of language learning - student project

Inspiration:

I liked having an overview of what work resonates with me the most. I realised I had a preconception that an illustration piece couldn't be a drawing - I imagined it had to be something more elaborate.

What I like:

  • Sketches / quick drawings
  • Comics / funny characters
  • Limited colours

Self-inventory:

I liked the illustrations where I created quick drawings, with organic shapes,  limited colours and texture. Even though I like the characters in my inspiration case studies, I haven't explored drawing characters myself as much as I would like to. I think this is because it's out of my comfort zone and overwhelming.

Project plan:

I decided on the topic of language learning, as this is another passion of mine and I'm interested in helping others learn languages as well.

I hope to explore creating more characters in the drawings and to experiment with different ways of showing scenes or representing objects.
