A Walk in the Park

I remember the first time I saw a Lomography camera was in a snowboarding magazine about 7 years ago. It was a photo issue and they had an article suggesting different cameras for shooting snowboarders. The Holga was mentioned as a fun experimental camera. They went on to talk about how pictures from the Holga had cool affects like vignetting, blur, light leaks, and other distortions. I was instantly intrigued. After reading the article I visited the Lomography website and immediatly feel in love. I started to do some research on which Lomography camera I wanted to buy. I ended up purchasing a Diana Mini (Diana F+ was not in my price range at the time). Diana and I became close friends and I took her with me everywhere. I loved Diana so much I ended up buying other fun cameras to play with.

This image is the first picture I had taken with the Diana Mini

The rest of the photo's were taken for this project. Camera is a Nikon N60 with expired Fuji 35mm film iso400.

It was interesting to learn about a breif history of Lomography and the developing of the film process. I am going to have to look up how to develope film with orange juice and coffee...

Any who, I hope you enjoyed my project!
