A Local Luxury

I love a solid hotel breakfast: from fresh croissants at Le Meurice in Paris to miso soup and salmon at the Peninsula Tokyo, I never miss this meal when traveling, because I look forward to any surprises a new destination's breakfast culture may bring.

Lucky me, I sometimes indulge in such meals at a local hotel when I'm home. The photos below were taken after having taken Adam's class on the rooftop at the Andaz San Diego, where I not only took advantage of the fantastic natural light but their made-in-house donuts as well!

I went with the birds eye approach to encompass the entire spread and eventually moved the donuts to another table to create a simpler image. Both images were taken with an iPhone 5.
