A Little Thing Called Love

1/8

Here are a couple hand drawn maps I sketched out.

This first one is all of the places Piper, my cat, visits during the day. Even a visit to my roommate's room to chew on her plants.

The next is a simple map of my neighborhood area and the places close by that I frequently go to!

I've gathered some inspiration on Pinterest and made a board. Here's the link:

Hello all!

  • Why am I making this map? For fun? A client? a
gift? To showcase my favorite places? Etc.

I'm making this map for my wedding next year. It is really quite simple in directions but I think it would be a nice touch and a new way for me to practice my design skills. I'm also contemplating showing special places in the area that my fiance and I shared.

  • Why am I the expert to create this map?

It's my hometown, my wedding, my style, and my expectations!

  • Who is my target audience?

Friends and family who are familiar and new to the area.

  • What level of detail do I need to include? (Names,
addresses, contact info, street names, website,
    hours, descriptions, color coding etc.).

Addresses, street names, illustrations, times, etc.

  • Do I want my final project to be printed or digital?
How is it going to be used/ held? What other
constraints do I need to keep in mind moving
forward? (Note: type can be smaller on printed maps
    than when viewed on web).

I would like it to be both! It will go on my website and with the invitations

  • “Dear classmates, I need your help/expertise/
    guidance on how to.....”

I'm not sure at the very moment however, I'm sure I will have many questions!
