A Homemade Morning

My breakfast during the week is usually my homemade yogurt with milk from local cows, topped with granola (also homemade) and fruit. Cherries, one of my favorite fruits just hit the market so they were added to the blueberries and granola and made a perfect topping! In my massive Pebble Beach mug, is some wonderful smoky Earl Grey tea.

Both the yogurt and granola are so easy to make and taste so much better than the store-bought variety. Plus, with the granola you can put what ever you like in it. This batch has some fabulous bourbon-barrel aged maple syrup, coconut, pine nuts etc.

When the yogurt is gone, I make a second cup of tea and start the morning email.
