A Green Breakfast

While taking this class I debated if I was going to participate in this assignment. I wanted to be really good (for a lack of a better word) before I started sharing my food photography on instagram. Sure I have a private instagram and I follow food photographers that I look up to. But I wanted to be somewhere near their level before sharing publicly.

I realized there will always be something that I will feel needs to be improved on. Even if I ever reach the level I want to be at, there's always going to be things I feel I could've shot differently.  Recently, I came across this quote:

"Do what you can, with what you have, where you are" - Theodore Roosevelt

This quote helped me realize that I have to do with what I have. Right now, Instagram is such a great community for feedback, and a way for me to slowly improve my photography. On top of that, it will actually be pretty great to get feedback from other Instagrammers and over time (hopefully) see how far I've come along. Thank you so much for inspiring me Adam and for immensly improving my photography!

I usually start my day with a green smoothie. There's something about apples, oranges, spinach, green grapes, and mint mixed together that makes this smoothie this vibrant, green color. For some reason this looked a lot more vibrant on my phone. That's another excuse I made for myself that I need a better phone before contributing but, I have to do with what I have. And I've heard it's not the camera that really matters.

I usually like eggs and roasted potatoes, but let's be honest I can't make my food look good and shoot it. There's also the fact that I can't that long when I'm hungry!

By 10 o'clock I usually need a cup of coffee. I'm not so much of a morning coffee drinker.

There's something about this time of year that makes me crave pumpkins, and these pumpkin scones hit the spot!

For all the pictures I above, I only used snapseed to edit. For this last one, besides snapseed I also used vsco cam. If you haven't tried avocado toast yet, you must!

I'd love to here any feedback that can help me improve! Also can't wait to connect with all of you on instagram!
