2b is my favourite.

There's two images that stick out for me. The guy because look at the smile in his eyes & the girl because I think there is good shadow and highlights for practicing.

I'm a pinterest junkie. I know. I need help. Here is my board.

Progress Update 19th November

I'm having trouble getting hold of the bristol vellum paper here in Australia. It's not readily available anywhere. Is there something similar I can use?

Atm I'm practicing on cartridge paper until I can work something out with finding the vellum paper. The surface of this cartridge paper is far too rough for making a smooth skin texture but practice is practice and I'm sure when I have the smooth paper things will look much better.

Hi My name is Sandra and normally I'm a printmaker.

I'm taking this class because I need to get better at drawing people. I love art and being creative to infinity and beyond.  I can get basic forms down in a cartoon kind of style but I can't figure out/understand shading and highlighting to acheive something closer to realism. Here's my recent try at drawing a person...

I'm still finding my style and I like what's happening. However I don't know how to move my drawing style forward from basic line.

When I saw Gabrielle's astonishing work I was in awe. I'm thrilled to be learning from you Gabrielle. There's alot of talented students taking this class. Looking forward to seeing everyones work.
