These are the first watercolored sketched I've done. I'm not very good at it, but I do love watercolors. I'm going to try making a nicer one (or two) for the final project :)

1. Christian Dior: I've used some glass microbeads I use for nail-art to make the tiny floral pattern (didn't do cover all the dress though... it took me forever to get just that part done, hihihi).

2. another Christina Dior

3. Gianbattista Valli

Unfortunately I didn't have that much time this weekend, but I just managed to sketch a few pics. Hope you like them...

Just love these socks!

I felt like sketching some beauty products too...

Hi everyone (with a special hi to Katie)!

I'm a fashion, textile & surface pattern designer, and even though I got my BA in fashion and worked for a while as a designer I don't consider myself a good fashion illustrator (but I do looooove it!). I've been focusing on my surface patern design career for the last couple of years, and have recently come to accept and like my own "non perfect" illustrations. Fashion Illustration has always been in my dream list, and when I discovered Katie's beautiful work and saw her video introducing the course I knew I had to try it! Can't wait to have the time to sit down and sketch to show you some work and get some feedback directly from her. You can check some of my other work here. I believe building a creative network/community is very important and inspiring, so I invite you to follow my creative and everyday adventures on my blogtwitterfacebook pagepinterest and instagram. I would love to follow yours too. Share your links on the comments below :)

When it comes to surface design I love whimsical, quirky, happy design, and when it comes to fashion I love minimal silhouettes and interesting textures and details. Some of my favorite designers are: Jil Sander, Celine, Stella McCartney, Dior (especially now that's being decide by Raf Simmons), MMM, Valentino, Bottega Veneta, Alberta Ferretti, and many many more!

So far I've only got to select some of my favorite looks from the latest Couture shows in Paris (Spring 2013). These are not all the ones I like, just some I thought could be good to start working on because of their simple silhouettes and nice details.
