Day 1: Recently I keep coming across the mindset that what you are listening to sets the tone for your thoughts. So since I've been in playlist creating moods lately I have been making all sorts of chill, relaxing playlists that keeps my day (and thought processes) running peaceful and smooth. I thought wrapping some of the lyrics around the images from each song on one of my playlists definitely showed off my particular artistic style.

Day 2: Since the pandemic I've become a quite the houseplant collector and recently just added a Venus flytrap into my house! Known to be a more challenging plant to keep alive I definitely had to do a little research to make sure it gets proper care...

Day 3: This was a fun one! It took me a minute to narrow down what I mainly create with (because I can never stick to one medium) but as a branding designer for work, I knew I had to include my laptop and the program I use on a daily basis. I included my pens and watercolor since lately those have also what I've used most frequently. I tried to do one of my fireworks design on the sketchbook, although it ended up looking like a fidget spinner (LOL, thanks brain). Also, the salt lamp for good vibes was definitely an essential :-P 14 days of illustrated journaling - image 4 - student project

Day Four: As much as I thought I should only pick a few colors for this pallet, I wanted to do these wonderful books justice, and be a rebel and keep them upright ;-) I always read a fiction and non fiction at the same time, and thoroughly enjoyed attempting to draw Kyoshi (being a huge Avatar nerd). Also tried to add my geode bookends, although they're not up to my level of perfection.... Love this prompt!

Day 5: All of these are ingredients to my mess on my nightstand! (plus a few more things not pictured...) I'm constantly shoving things around to make room to set other things down. I think its time to tidy this area up and limit it to the items above only!
