This was a great class and below are a nugget or so I took from each tip.
In the beginning, she thought she had to be everything to everyone. Finding your style, your niche is going to benefit you in the long run.
Compare what you are offering to what other designers/illustrators are offering. Ask for 50% upfront (deposit) and expect the rest of the 50% around a week later.
Take the time to really decorate your space. Develop you own area for creativity.
Those one or two clients can turn into 20, 30, 40 etc. The client is always right.
(If something comes up.) Communicate with your clients if it's a hard deadline or if it's a little more flexible. ALWAYS BE ON TIME.
When working in a design studio, it isn't just what you think. It has to be in sync with the vision of the entire team.
Communication is what separates the amateur from the professional.
