100 days of Taiwan

100 days of Taiwan - student project

I love to draw, but often I can’t seem to fit it in my day. But when I’ve spent a moment of me-time with my sketchbook, the feeling of calmness, creativity and contentment are reaching high levels. Sometimes I feel a bit anxious before putting my pen on paper, cause there are no command Z buttons. And the perfectionist in me expects a sketch that’s flawless.

After following this class I was really excited to start a 100-days challenge. And now being in Taiwan, since March, I knew had to do something with all those newly acquired experiences.

Everyday I post a new drawing on instagram, which illustrates the things I find peculiar of Taiwan. Not to make fun of the country and the people, but more as a reminder of those small quirky things we otherwise forget.

I always first make the sketches in my sketchbook. Afterwards I make them digital in Procreate.

Today I will post day 43 on my Instagram account, so always welcome to take a look!

Thank you Rich for sharing your knowledge! I needed that little push in the 'just start' direction.
