Socks came to my mind by this cold november days. I started a little mindmap, then a Pinterest Board to collect inspirational pictures.

I usually paint or do calligraphy, but at this stage I felt I should immediately explore  other techniques, so I started to carve gum.

Then came some collages, with papercut and calligraphy drafts which I found quite graphic and interesting

What is fun with socks, is that you can vary pattern, colors and textures to the infinite. So I started to explore patterns. This was quite relaxing and mindful

Well.... at this point I felt that I could keep on varying shapes, patterns and colors until the end of the 100. But I felt I didn't want to make an Xmas Collection or whatever... Something was missing...

On the train back home after my day at work, I realized that socks may have stories to tell (they actually do, believe me), and that this should be the guideline for the rest of the project.
