Thanks Irina for these super cute classes! Breaking down things I would have spent more time on, into 5 minute classes, brilliant! I like the way this is simple, yet still super pretty!
2021: re-visiting this challenge, picking 28 of my favorite, all nature inspired, to see if I am getting better at it. Oh and of course I like a challenge. ;-)
I am not sure I am better, but I am definitely faster! I think last year I took 15 minute on average for each painting, and this year I actually did them in 5 minutes! It was a great challenge for me, to not get stopped by all the details.

In the end, I added details with a white Posca pen, and it really makes a difference. I still need to practice straight lines ;-) and proportions, but I am happy with this somewhat short and small painting.

Day 3: Thursday 9 April. Lighthouse. I totally messed it up at first, splattering some red paint everywhere, then lifting it off, then painting the little house next to the lighthouse before things were dry. I had to use a lot of patience letting it dry to fix it all and finally finish it! ;-)
