Hi community!

My class will not be a single one because I think creative work is like a long road trip where you have a lot to learn and that's why I will start this series of creativepills to give you the knowledge, about every aspects of the creative process, from the beginning of a project to the most important part, when the final work is delivered and you get paid.

The first creative pill is one of the most important because you need to incorporate into your day by day work to preserve the good health of your creative career. I'm talking about The Creative Brief.

Class description:

First of all, I will use the term "creative" because I'm talking about everybody involved in the creative industry who will work in a creative project for a client (art directors, copywriters, designers, lettering artists, marketers, photographers, project managers, etc.)

Do you want to start creating awesome works? Then you need to know that a Creative Brief is one of the most important elements of any creative project. It's like the foundation of a building and if is weak all your creative project can fall like a House of Cards (Frank Underwood approves this concept).

The Creative Brief serves as the outline of all the work that is to be done, because it is a summary of every single aspect involved in the project, making it easier for both client and creative to keep track of their progress.

Designing a Creative Brief can be a daunting task and that why I'm here to help you, I will go over the ins and outs of how you can design a creative brief like a rockstar.

Class project:

Your assignment is to design a creative brief about your business or personal brand. You must ask the right questions to get the more detailed information and once your creative brief has answered all these questions you will know that there is a big possibility that you got everything to develop the project and to make a brand design proposal.

I will check every creative brief to discuss the final conclusions and your brand design proposal.
