"Tradition", Hand-Lettered Postcard

First of all thank you Martina Flor for the very inspiring class. I am a fresh design graduate from India, and I am obsessed with hand lettering. Skillshare classes are really awesome and has thought me a lot.

For the postcard I have choosed the word "Tradition", just because I was helping one of my friend on his project and this word happen to be very much associated with it.

And I started with my initial sketches which looks like this (after a bit of polishing really)...

I wanted the word to look grand and to keep its hand drawn feel I made the stroke widths a little uneven yet smooth. I am going forward with the last one and vectorizing it.

First vectored result:

Critisizing the design:

The highlighted areas have stroke widths which are not balanced.

Final vector design:

Colour Scheme:

The colours are inspired from the traditional dresses of Assamese Bihu dancers (from north-east India).

So here is my final postcard...

This was a fun project, hope you all like it. Love to hear everyones advice and suggestions.
