"Be Kind" block print

I've wanted to try block printing for a long time, and after the very clear instructions and videos of the process, I found it was easier than I expected. I already had a block lettered and carved, so the printing didn't take long at all. Here's the workspace with the uninked block.

My final experiment was to print the block on a painted sheet of watercolor paper. I wasn't sure if the soaking step would result in paper sludge, but it worked fine, and the paper looked just as brightly colored coming out as it did going in.

Thanks again, Sandra, for the great class!
