He’s passionate about teaching animators of all skill levels the tools they need to master After Effects, bring new styles into their work, and become better motion designers—and has created 30+ popular classes on Skillshare have helped over 200,000 students do just that. Over the years, his own work has made it everywhere from a Netflix documentary to The History Channel, National Geographic Channel, HGTV, and so much more.

This live session will include:

  • A discussion of why understanding things like weight and physics is important for growing your skills as an animator
  • An exploration of tons of examples of animations that work (and ones that don’t) when it comes to realistic motion
  • A live animation demonstration in After Effects showing you how to apply these principles to make bouncing objects of different sizes and weights look as believable as possible
